Built with multiple layers of rich, metallic acrylic paint, I used specialized tools and my own secret crackling method—to give this piece an incredible, multi-dimensional surface.
The finish blends the nostalgic, organic look of an aged oil painting with a brilliant, modern metallic glow. Deep, molten gold veins weave through shifting, fiery tones, mimicking the unpredictable beauty of dragon's fire. The painting shifts beautifully depending on how the light hits the room, revealing hidden depths from every angle.
Because art is in the eye of the beholder, "Dragons Fire" invites you to look closer. Every viewer discovers their own unique imagery within its intricate, volcanic cracks and flowing colors.
